Oscillating Back to Love

A keynote about grief, resilience, and falling back in love with life.

What if the heaviest loss you've ever carried could also be the thing that brought you back to life? Not after the grief. Not once you've healed. But right in the middle of it — while you're still carrying it.

That's not a motivational promise. It's Kim McInnes' lived story. And it's the science-backed framework she built from it.

About this keynote

When Kim's daughter Rumi died from cancer at just nine months old, she found herself in a crater so dark she could barely breathe. She searched for a voice that could show her how to live again — not just survive, but truly live. She couldn't find it. So she became it.

Drawing on positive psychology, the oscillation theory, and the raw reality of rebuilding after unimaginable loss, Kim takes audiences on a journey from the depths of grief to the extraordinary life waiting on the other side — not by bypassing pain, but by learning to dance with it.

"Healing isn't a straight line. It's a dance between honouring your pain and

leaning back into love. And you get to move at your own rhythm."

Audiences leave with more than inspiration. They leave with a framework a way of thinking about
their own grief, loss, or heaviness that actually makes sense of the messiness of being human.
